: I'm looking at different electric fans right now and after doing a search I've found some info on the Spals, Flex-lit black magic, and perma-cools I've found very little good info. Most has just been people's opinions like "electric fan's suck" or "don't do it". I need real input from people that ARE RUNNING them or have run them. i am running a flex-lite black magic fan in my jeep. it draws like 13 amps. it flows like a sun-of-a-bitch. when it turns on, you can here it in the car at 40mph. but it doesn't make just a bunch a noise, it'll pull your panties down if your situated just right. I am really impressed with the quality and amount of flow the black magic gets/gives. dunno how well it'd work in a Z car tho.
Positive and negative experiences would be great to hear. Any pics of the fans installed would be cool too, although I'm not so worried about the appearance as I am worried about the cooling.
